Merry Christmas, Scout! I wanted to stick with simple toys she would enjoy even more as she gets older. This is necessary since my child grows at the speed of light.
- Rocking Riding Mammoth this was on super sale on Zulily and I couldn’t help but pick it up. Just thinking about it always being in the kids room for years to come melts my heart.
- Bead Maze This toy is actually from the company I work for, but I’m the one who chooses and buys the toys for the kids so I will continue to take credit for it. I love how simple and bright it is.
- Melissa & Doug xylophone I don’t mean to get all hippie mommy blogger on you, but Melissa & Doug is my favorite brand for toys. And I will never say no to an instrument.
- Tag Blocks Scout is obsessed with tags and I filled her stocking with a few of these.
- The Real Mother Goose My sisters and I grew up with this book and I still know every little poem in it. We have always read to Scout and she is a very good listener whenever we read to her, kicking her feet and just looking at the pages.
