I’m not joking when I say there are few people I could see practically all day, every day. Though we seemed an unlikely pair to share an office, no one could have been better matched than you and I.
We’ve gone through engagements, weddings, and pregnancies side by side. I am nervous and excited for you as you begin labor on this rainy summer day. And proud. So very, very proud of the woman you’ve become and the momma you are about to be.
I will hold my child extra close tonight, knowing you are about to be able to do the same.
